MSMEs – The Nation’s Builders
Having worked for 16 years with Tata AIA and prior for 9 years at Xerox India, it was an automatic choice to move into a niche area which supported the dream of entrepreneurship and at that same time something that revolved around meaningful contribution to society (something which Insurance teaches you). At first it was People development through Training, specifically at BFSI but then exposed to the challenges which MSMEs face – smaller sized issues of larger organisations without a simple solution in sight indicated the area of work. MSMEs face challenges of Finance. Therefore their investments into otherwise growth accelerators such as Research, Technology and Marketing is low – leading to the cycle of low to moderate growth. Coupled with a poor cycle or season, low distribution or client base, weak stickiness, high reliability on one – two key clients, etc make the MSME business model susceptible to higher risks.
In other writeups one will be able to read about how important it is for the MSME system to succeed if we are grow as a nation and build stronger communities which draw on their own strength rather than have their youth migrate in search of a dream job / career. Its is our mission to build the MSME base and offer them consulting services at a fraction of the cost of growth / revenues / profits which they can make if they were to apply the rules and principles which organisations such as the Big 4 and larger consulting companies offer. We will offer an extra step. We will help in execution which they dont. We know the ground realities and how to manoeuvre road blocks to reach destinations. We believe its not only an idea but also the execution for which there is a copyright for success!
